Synopsis
Early in the morning, while outside the first snow has just fallen down, 8 pre-teenagers are having breakfast with their families. In their mood we perceive ambiguous events, small misunderstandings or big arguments, anomalies that are challenging the regular course of the everyday life. The approach of adolescence is not the point: in these apparently irrational attitudes, something deeper is wondering the families.
Among the vast snowy landscapes in the Italian Maritime Alps, the film recounts 7 everyday stories that are a metaphor for something that remains unsaid. The relationship with adults and mutual misunderstandings, the rigidity of the climate, the (apparent) dependence on technology are just some of the subterranean themes of the entire story, which aims to outline a silent portrait of a rural territory and its younger generation.
